What is it good for?
Clean, refined filter coffee with gentle florals, soft sweetness and a calm, tea-like structure.
Additional notes:
This is a beautifully balanced white honey Pacamara from Costa Rica, showing a quieter, more elegant side of the variety. Think green tea, chamomile and a hint of bergamot, sitting on a soft milk-chocolate base with a smooth, silky mouthfeel. Not loud or punchy, but very considered and satisfying. A really lovely coffee if you enjoy clarity and subtle complexity rather than big fruit bombs.
Producer:
This coffee comes from Finca Licho, one of the key farms run by the Hermanos Aguilera in Costa Rica’s West Valley. The Aguilera family have been growing coffee for over 60 years and, for the past two decades, have focused heavily on quality-driven specialty production.
They are well known for their regular appearances in the Costa Rica Cup of Excellence and for working with a wide range of varieties and processes. Pacamara is a variety they handle particularly well, and this white honey lot shows their attention to detail — clean, precise and thoughtfully processed to highlight balance rather than intensity.
